Happy 3-Months To Me!

YAY! I have been blogging for 3 months now! Happy Birthday? Happy Anniversary??   LOL
Whichever one it is, I'm happy I made it this far. Like I said last night, I have not been as active. Life has taking over during the Christmas season and I have been waiting impatiently for my Reviews/Giveaways to arrive! :)

We are all moved in and I'm finally able to assess what we need in the form of organizing.. ..
I have a Utility closet just off the corner of my kitchen. Seeing as I don't have a pantry I'm looking at purchasing a utility shelf to put in the closet. I can stock up on groceries and store my pots and pans! My Mother-In-Law gave me a new set of Paula Dean Stainless Steel Pots and Pans! I'm so excited, but have NO WHERE To store them!!  So, my husband seeing them stored on the counter top for 2 days stated, do you know what you want for storage??  I was so excited, I immediately started searching the internet!



If you have ANY comments advice on what to use besides a metal utility shelf, I would appreciate input!

Moving Sucks!

OK! So, FINALLY we have Internet. Only took one week from Move-In date! :) I have missed it terribly. Thankfully, I have my handy Iphone, otherwise I would feel completely cut off from the outside world! Its insane how addicted I am. I have accomplished a TON during this past week though. My house is "almost" completely unpacked! I have only a few boxes that need sorting through! Most items made it safely, minor nicks and dents. So, I'm thankful. Its nice to have my Kitchen back, and start decorating for the Christmas Season.

Fall Back Tonight!

Its Craft Fair Time

The Smell of Kettle Corn and Roasted Nuts is in the air! Our Yearly Fall Craft Fairs have arrived! They start on Thursday and go through Sunday. Its a HUGE thing in our area. We have several all over North West Arkansas. Craft lovers from all over drive here to do their Christmas Shopping. I love this time of year. I LOVE Kettle Corn, in a real Kettle!!  (Not that stuff you get in a bag and put in your microwave-although its ok)   We will probably head to town tomorrow and taste all the wonderful yummy dips and sample the roasted almonds!  I will be purchasing the BIG bag of Kettle Corn this year. All three of us just love that stuff!!

Hello Friends! Hope you all had a nice day. The weather was gorgeous here, but alas I was stuck inside. I'm prepping clothes for our local Kids Resale Event! I'm so excited, this will be my first time consigning. I hope to make enough to buy shoes and leggings for my little girl! :)
   I didnt realize how MUCH work one needs to do in the prepping process. I'm just thankful that I dont have to print and tag my items! All I have to do is, sort, iron, safety pin, and then put tags on them. The Event will actually print the labels and put them on my tags. I drop off and will make 70%! ! Nice, not too shabby.. lol

Thats about my day. I'm awaiting word on some Reviews, so stay tuned for them. I'm excited to do another Giveaway! If you have not already, be sure and enter my Current Giveaway.

Well, I was excited

So, I receive a phone call early evening. My husband said he thinks he broke his toe yesterday so he is coming home early. The original plan was to work half a day tomorrow then head home.
So, I got all excited. Threw the last of the laundry in the washer and prepared for my husband to arrive a day earlier than expected.  We had dinner, cleaned up then watched Foyle's War. (I highly recommend this British Suspense Series, I'm hooked) By this time it was after 9:00 and I had not heard from him. I gave him a call, (after noticing he did call, my daughter failed to mention it) he said they didn't finish till after 7:00, which would have had him driving till after midnight. :( So, we go with the original plan and he comes home tomorrow night. :( I am sad, I was excited to see him, to have that extra time with him. It's just not fair. Our time apart has been more than together. The Military took that from us, now that we are no longer Active Duty, it shouldn't be this way. . I keep praying for a miracle. .  I just want to have him home every night, in our own home. . .

Seeing as its Friday Night. I'm making this short and sweet!
I went to Walmart this afternoon and spent .53 on 11 items!! !!  Yes only .53! ! I LOVE saving money!! !!  :) It gives me a sort of high, lol. Sounds crazy right? I know, saving money is just so much fun.

Not much else to say about today. My daughter got to see her cousins at DG for a few minutes. They have so much fun together. We are hoping daddy will be home this weekend so we can go to the Air Show! I have never been to one, neither has my daughter. My husband, has been to many! So, I'm hoping that all goes well and he gets to come home for the weekend.

Possible Job Offer

Well this morning I received a phone call. A lady I babysit for from time to time was curious if I had any plans today. Her son was sent home from the Daycare. I didn't have anything set in stone so I said of course I can come over!
 So I packed up my daughter and her school supplies and headed off to a day of babysitting. He is a joy to watch, very mild mannered. He was one of my favorites in the Center where I worked! We had a good day playing together, as he wasn't sick they just didn't want to take a chance, in case it was pink eye. (yeah, don't get me started on daycare!)
 Her and I have talked about it before. Me becoming their nanny. They have 2 kids and one on the way. I personally would love to. I can take my daughter with me. She gets to be around kids of different ages. (similar to her having siblings) I can still do field trips etc. . Not to mention the money would really benefit our family at this time. So, once her husband arrived home from work I addressed the concerns they had. I'm praying for God's will in this situation. My husband has an interview next week that will have him home with us at dinner every night. (Instead of the 2 nights every two weeks) That job comes with a pay-cut of course! So, just praying for God's will and whatever happens happens.
 So, it was a nice, cool, rainy day today. We had fun and enjoyed a hot bowl of homemade chili for supper!
Hope everyone is doing well tonight. I'm getting excited to see my husband this weekend for a day or so, since he has to come home for this interview.

Today Was A Good Day

Today we went shopping with my sister who is now 4 weeks away from her Due Date! We had fun going from shop to shop looking at cloth diapers, nursing bras, etc. . I cant wait to see her lil baby boy. . This is the first boy in our family. I'm one of two girls and I have a daughter, so introducing a boy into the family is gonna be an interesting journey! We are all so excited for her and her husband.
